In an interview, the actress revealed the shelf life of actresses. But, praised the Netflix, Amazon, and other platforms that provide content-driven films and web series, which have good work for senior actresses.” She further said that commercial mass films are still following the same old system.
She added, “The change will have to come from the industry. The audience is not responsible for this.” The actress said the change should come within the industry then only the audience will accept it. The actress was last seen in the Tamil film Kannai Nambathey, which is a thriller film. The actress was also a part of the Telugu film Sita Ramam and Butterfly.
Recently the actress is busy promoting her recent film ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan.’ The film stars Salman Khan, Puja Hegde, Daggubati Venkatesh, Bhumika Chawla, Jagapathi Babu, Jassi Gill, Raghav Juyal, Shehnaaz Gill, Palak Tiwari, Sidharth Nigam, etc. The movie is already released on the 21st of April this year.
The actress has also worked on several Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam films. The actress began her acting career through the Telugu film Yuvakudu. She received Filmfare Award for Best Actress for Telugu Film. For her Hindi film debut Tere Naam, she received Zee Cine Award for Best Female Debut.
