The long-awaited trailer for Thalapathy Vijay was released today. Don’t miss the actor’s outdoorsy mood in the Lokesh Kanagaraj-directed movie.
Fans have been agitated for days, and the actor has been trending on Twitter’s X platform. On Thursday, the cast and crew of his Tamil flick Leo finally revealed the much-awaited trailer. On October 19, Leo will be made available in theatres. The movie will be Vijay and Lokesh Kanagaraj’s second collaboration following 2021’s Master.
SS Lalit Kumar’s Seven Screen Studio and Jagadish Palanisamy collaborated in the production of Leo. Anirudh Ravichander is the composer of Leo’s soundtrack. After Master and Kaththi, Leo is the pair’s third joint project.
Given that this is Vijay’s 67th film as a lead actor, Leo was initially announced in January 2023 under the working title Thalapathy 67. A few days later, the official title of the movie was revealed. Leo has been photographed in a number of places, including Kashmir and Chennai.
Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay were last spotted together in Varisu. Vamshi Paidipally directed the movie, which debuted in January of this year. Trisha Krishnan, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun, Priya Anand, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Mansoor Ali Khan, Sandy, and Mysskin are also featured in Leo in addition to Vijay.
After a 15-year hiatus, Trisha Krishnan and Vijay are reunited on screen with Leo. They have collaborated on films like Ghilli and Thirupaachi. The 2008 film Kuruvi was their final collaboration. Thalapathy Vijay reportedly saw a special screening of his upcoming movie Leo last month in Chennai. The lead actor reportedly expressed his wish to watch the movie after he finished dubbing for his portions even though the post-production and re-recording work for the film had not yet been completed and the final copy had not yet been made.
