The heist comedy movie. ‘Crew’ starring Kriti Sanon, Tabu, and Kareena Kapoor Khan hit the movie theatres on 29th March, Friday, on the occasion of ‘Good Friday’. On its opening day, the makers said that it has collected a whopping worth of Rs. 20.07 crore worldwide.
The movie is directed by Rajesh A Krishnan and along with these three divas, Kapil Sharma and Diljit Dosanjh have also starred. Ektaa Kapoor took to Instagram and wrote, ‘ Thanku INDIA!!!! My girls and our director showed the world how it’s done!!! World wide dhamaka! (sic)’’.
On this, Kareena said she is glad to be back to working with Ektaa Kapoor and Rhea Kapoor. Before this, she worked in Veere Di Wedding with Rhea Kapoor and Ekta Kapoor. The movie, Crew is based on the life of three flight attendants working for Kohinoor Airlines which is facing bankruptcy. In this financial turbulence, the women were worried about whether their salaries would get credited or not. We see how the movie continues when they stumbled upon a passenger who was carrying gold plates under his shirt. The movie outlines female friendships which are followed by chaos. It is a humorous plot outlining the lives of three crews aligning with the challenges that are faced in the airline industry. It was decided to release the movie on 22nd March but to avoid the class with ‘Swatantra Veer Savarkar’ and ‘Madgaon Express’, the makers decided to push the release date. The movie is expected to cross another milestone with the love that people are showering on it.
