Govinda, a popular Bollywood actor, especially in the 1990s came into a situation quite opposite while he was shot in his leg. Govinda was at home on October 1 when the accident occurred; the accident occurred early in the morning when at his home and, his revolver, which he had not been trying to use went off and shot him on the left leg, a bit above the knee.
Though the actor has police statement maintaining that the revolver after being dropped to the floor, had mischarged, the Mumbai police and the crime branch do not appear impressed with him and his version of the events.

Additionally, it is stated that crime branch is also investigating the case under Daya Nayak, legion crimes Sr. Inspector. Following this, when the team came and met Govinda in the hospital, they reported that there were contradictions in his account. PTI reports that the actorβs report is not one hundred percent accepted by law enforcement.
In March, when the whole incident took place, he was home alone and explained that to Atele there was a Webley revolver which was an issue as it was not fully locked, the bullet was discharged due to this falling. A bullet was also fired that hit his left knee and he suffered some injuries on his leg. He was taken to the hospital and has made a statement to assure fans on his state of recovery after he was discharged.
Although the police have cleared everyone from suspicion outside the police, they still remain keen on the chain of events that led to the shooting. The status of this grievance is vague, and whether legal action will follow is unknown, since no such complaint has been made yet. Govinda may be called once again by the Crime Branch to cross examine some details in his statement.
For instance, the actor has acted in more than 165 movies in over four decades in the acting profession. In the past few weeks, Govinda hit the news volume by returning to politics, joining in the Lok Sabha elections Eknath Shindeβs Shiv Sena party. It also proved to be the re-entry of the actor in the political arena two decades after he hovered around the fringes of politics.
The incident of shooting has captured many eyeballs with both the fans and the media keeping a tab on the developments and circumferencing the reasons which may have led to such an incident. While various aspects of the accident remain shrouded in doubt, officials have maintained that they are carrying out an investigation which have a lot of steps that will be aimed at ensuring that all aspects are weaved into. Currently, the Bollywood star is focusing on his health, taking care of himself and recovering under the supervision of medical staff. His family has kept him company and fans all over the country have been showering him with blue sky and pink cloudy wishes and prayers.
